1. Introduction

Dongguan Jike Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to producing power supply products that comply with global environmental protection regulations and harmful substance restrictions. This Environmental & RoHS Compliance Policy outlines our commitment to environmentally responsible manufacturing, our compliance with RoHS, REACH and related environmental directives, and our efforts to reduce the environmental impact of our products throughout their lifecycle.

This policy applies to all DC power supply products, accessories and related components manufactured, supplied or sold by Dongguan Jike Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. through our website https://etommenspowersupply.com.

2. Our Environmental Commitment

We recognize that electronic manufacturing has a direct impact on the environment. We are committed to:

  • Continuously improving our environmental management system and production processes;
  • Reducing hazardous substances in our products to the lowest feasible level;
  • Optimizing material usage, reducing waste generation and promoting recyclable packaging;
  • Complying with applicable environmental laws and regulations in China and our export markets;
  • Raising environmental awareness among our employees, suppliers and business partners.

3. RoHS Compliance

Our power supply products are designed and manufactured in compliance with the EU Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive (RoHS 2, Directive 2011/65/EU, as amended by Directive (EU) 2015/863). We restrict the use of the following substances beyond the maximum concentration values permitted under RoHS:

  • Lead (Pb) — 0.1%
  • Mercury (Hg) — 0.1%
  • Cadmium (Cd) — 0.01%
  • Hexavalent chromium (Cr(VI)) — 0.1%
  • Polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) — 0.1%
  • Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE) — 0.1%
  • Four phthalates: DEHP, BBP, DBP, DIBP — 0.1% each

We require our component suppliers to provide RoHS compliance declarations and material data for all parts used in our products. RoHS test reports or declarations of conformity can be provided upon request for bulk orders.

4. REACH Compliance

We also comply with the EU Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) Regulation (EC No 1907/2006). Our products do not intentionally contain Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) in concentrations above 0.1% weight by weight (w/w), as per the latest updated SVHC candidate list published by ECHA. We monitor updates to the SVHC list and work with our suppliers to phase out restricted substances when new entries are added.

5. Packaging and Environmental Protection

We use export-standard corrugated cartons, foam cushioning and anti-static bags for product packaging. Our packaging materials are selected to be recyclable wherever possible. We do not intentionally use excessive packaging or non-recyclable plastic fillers. We encourage customers to recycle or reuse shipping cartons and packaging materials after receiving goods.

6. Energy Efficiency

Our product design focuses on improving conversion efficiency and reducing no-load power consumption. Lower energy loss during operation reduces both electricity usage and heat generation, contributing to lower overall carbon footprint for our customers’ applications. We continuously optimize our circuit design to meet applicable energy efficiency standards in major export markets.

7. Waste Management at Our Facility

At our Dongguan manufacturing facility, we follow standard waste segregation practices. Electronic waste, solder waste and discarded components are handed over to licensed recycling vendors in accordance with local environmental regulations. We do not dispose of electronic waste through unsanitary channels. Production process emissions and wastewater are managed to comply with local environmental requirements.

8. Restricted Materials and Conflict Minerals

We do not intentionally source minerals that contribute to conflict or human rights violations in the Democratic Republic of Congo or adjoining countries. We require our upstream component suppliers to comply with responsible mineral sourcing principles. We are committed to supporting industry-wide due diligence efforts for 3TG (tin, tantalum, tungsten and gold) as required by our B2B customers.

9. Product End-of-Life

At the end of a product’s service life, we recommend that customers dispose of old power supply units through designated electronic waste recycling channels rather than general household waste. Electronic products contain metal and electronic components that should be recycled properly to prevent environmental contamination. We are not responsible for end-of-life disposal in the buyer’s local jurisdiction, but we encourage environmentally responsible recycling practices.

10. Documentation and Customer Requests

For B2B bulk orders, we can provide the following documents upon written request:

  • RoHS Declaration of Conformity (DoC)
  • REACH SVHC compliance statement
  • Material composition summary for specific components
  • Packaging material recycling declaration
